What data does TrustMyEcom collect from my Shopify store?

TrustMyEcom only collects shop-level aggregated metrics including revenue, order count, and average order value. We do NOT collect individual customer data, order details, or personally identifiable information (PII). See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

How do I update my business logo or information?

Once your Shopify app is installed, access the TrustMyEcom admin panel from your Shopify admin dashboard. You can upload a new logo, and manage your listing directly from the app interface.

Can I delist my business from TrustMyEcom?

Yes! You have full control over your listing. Navigate to the TrustMyEcom app in your Shopify admin, scroll to the "Danger Zone" section, and click "Delist My Business". This will remove your business from the public directory immediately. You can relist at any time.

What happens when I uninstall the TrustMyEcom app?

When you uninstall the app, your business is automatically delisted from the platform and your Shopify connection is marked as inactive. Your business data is retained for 60 days in case you want to reinstall. After 60 days, or if you request immediate deletion, all data is permanently removed.

How is my data secured?

We take security seriously. All Shopify access tokens are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We implement row-level security policies, HMAC verification for webhooks, and regular security audits. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

How often are my store metrics updated?

Store metrics (revenue, orders, AOV) are automatically synced every 6 hours when your Shopify app is connected. This ensures your trust badge displays up-to-date information.

Is TrustMyEcom GDPR compliant?

Yes, TrustMyEcom is fully GDPR compliant. We implement all required Shopify GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Since we don't store individual customer data, most GDPR requests don't require action. However, you can request deletion of your shop data at any time by delisting your business or contacting support@trustmye.com.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes! TrustMyEcom is free to use for all Shopify merchants. Simply install the app from the Shopify App Store and start building trust with your customers through verified business metrics.

Can I export my data from TrustMyEcom?

Yes, under GDPR and CCPA regulations, you have the right to data portability. Contact support@trustmye.com to request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (JSON). We will provide this within 30 days of your request.
